❤ 30 Day Mental Health Challenge; Day 7 ❤

If you could change anything about mental health, what would it be?

I would definitely change the stigma! It's something that has to change and become a thing of the past. There's stigma with everything, I don't know what it's like to experience stigma with cancer, I haven't had cancer *touch wood* so I can only speak from experience.

I installed an app called "Whisper" and started to post on it. I put something about my mental health about feeling alone, the response was "Go die". Now, I was in a bad place but I had support and help around me, and that made all the difference. I would message a few people who felt worthless and wanted to end their life, I would talk them out of their plans, reassure them that they are not alone and give them a reason to live again by discussing their situation, family members (incl. any children, a wife, pets... etc), their career, dreams, goals... etc.
