For some of us, Christmas is about being around family and being in front of the warm fire watching Christmas movie after Christmas movie. For others, this can be just another lonely time and with songs like "Do They Know It's Christmas" really show the struggle some people go through and to me that's extremely heart-breaking.
I recently went into my local Tesco Extra and the local Foodbank were asking for donations to make sure that families are having enough to eat. It really made me think just how precious life can be and how I take so much for granted. I have a roof over my head, food in my belly every day, running hot water whenever I needed it and clean water to drink. Some people barely have warm clothes and wear the same rags every single day of the week and to know this breaks my heart.
One of my resolutions for the new year which will be happening every year, is that I will donate food to my local Foodbank and Night Shelters. I would love for you to do the same for the less-fortunate in your area and if you see a homeless person on the street, giving as little as £1 will go so far for them or give them some food, they will really thank you for it. A simple "Have a nice day" will also bring happiness to their world.
Remember everyone has a battle to fight, and just by showing them that the world isn't as dull as they think, will make the world more amazing. Please be that person. Just think, if you were homeless, you'd want someone to help you.
Spread the love this Christmas.

Music Therapy - Playlist Heaven
So, I am currently listening to motivational and meaningful songs as I am typing this because to be honest with you I feel extremely low, but the following songs are making me feel better, so lets get on with it.
If there are any I need to add, please let me know and I will of course add them.

[In the new year, I will be starting a new YouTube channel to do some vlogs on, so I will update you as and when that happens.]
I listen to songs that describe exactly how I feel and these definitely do that!!
This is the perfect song to start with, because of the dialog at the beginning. It's so deep and meaningful.
Ever since this song came out 4 years ago, I was hooked to the lyrics and I just fell in love with it. It really describes the heartache you feel when something tries to pull you down, but to hear the words "go on and try to tear me down, I will be rising from the ground like a Skyscraper..." it basically means that you are always stronger than anything and nothing can or will take that strength away from you.
Talking about strength, this definitely speaks volumes. I absolutely love this song for when I just want to cry and also lip-sync aggressively to the lyrics. This definitely makes me feel better after I have done this. I do it with many songs.
This song again speaks volumes. The message is so deep. It's about bullying and how you can be yourself no matter what any one says and I truly believe in this.
When they released this song, I literally couldn't stop singing to the chorus. The lyrics "these wings are made to fly" makes you feel like you can conquer the world and it makes me feel so much more motivated to get better and to recover fully.
Even though I haven't heard this song in ages, it brings back so many old feelings from the very beginning of my recovery and it really makes me realise I have come so far and I am very proud of that. It's an achievement in itself.
"It's okay not to be okay" is just one of the meaningful and deep parts of this song. I always want to be happy and I am really trying to achieve this and to start being positive but everyday has its struggles and it's okay to show emotion. It's natural to do it. So don't be ashamed to cry.
Just like the song by Jessie J. This song is all about being yourself and also for you to feel comfortable in your own skin. There really isn't anything worse than hating yourself for your appearance. We were born this way, so embrace it. If we all were the same, then the world would just be predictable and boring.
I love the message this song sends out, it definitely shows that individuality is always fashionable and suits everyone. It always gets my two left feet moving and it is such a good tune generally.
This can literally mean anything to anyone but to me it means that I am the warrior of the struggles I've been through and I love that Demi herself has been through mental illness so it speaks volumes anyway because it's the truth and it comes from her heart.
This song speaks for itself. I love the party vibe that goes with such a strong song title. Love it!!
This song was the inspiration for this blog. The lyrics 'I defined, I designed my recovery' because everyone recovers at a different pace and in a different way.
13. Rachel Platten - Fight Song
Ever since this song came out, I used it as the "i'm sad" song and it really got to me. I love the lyrics as they can just make you feel like you can be and do anything you want.
14. Demi Lovato - Nightingale
Another Demi song... she really does release such good meaningful songs.
15. Jessie J - Masterpiece
Just like Demi, Jessie J also releases good meaningful songs with amazing lyrics. This song especially is all about recovery and to keep going forward no matter what.
Coldplay - Fix You
Coldplay has been a favourite band of mind for ages. I love their songs and this one really means a lot.
